Newark’s Mulberry Commons has turned into a winter wonderland, providing residents and visitors with an opportunity this holiday season to go ice skating, shop and enjoy a variety of games and activities.
The Newark Winter Village, located in downtown Newark outside the Prudential Center arena, kicked off this month and will run through Jan. 31, 2022. In an effort to infuse some holiday spirit, good tidings and cheer into the city of Newark, local nonprofit Newark Social worked in partnership with the city’s Parks Foundation, to transform the outdoor space at Mulberry Commons into an area for visitors to come by, grab a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the Winter Village’s many offerings.
