Rent a pop-up igloo, shop from local vendors, play outdoor games like curling and more.

Public ice skating and lots of festive holiday fun have made their debut in Newark. It’s part of Newark’s Winter Village which features a market with local vendors, pop-up igloos and tons of special wintertime fun.

Newark Social has turned downtown Newark’s Mulberry Commons and the nearby Ironside Building into winter wonderlands for everyone to enjoy. The event runs through January 31. Visitors will enjoy an ice skating rink, a shopping marketplace and plenty of games and activities to keep the family entertained, such as curling.

There are also pop-up igloos you can reserve that seat up to six people outdoors at Mulberry Commons. Over at the Ironside Building, be sure to visit the indoor holiday marketplace, which features only Newark-based vendors.
