Newark's Lincoln Park Music Festival is Back!

The largest multi-genre FREE music festival experience rooted in the traditions of the African-American and Afro-Caribbean diaspora in the tri-state region.

Five unforgettable days. Five unique cultural experiences. One incredible community.

Plus, experience the Sustainable Living Community Village, Youth Fest Zone, family activities, wellness programming, local vendors, food, art, and community all week long.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION: STARTING APRIL 10, 2026

The Harriet Tubman Square Improvement Project is Underway.


The Park will be closed for the duration of the project.
Planned enhancements include new seating, improved lighting, pathway repairs, a new plaza, a playground, and a comfort station designed by Nina Cooke John, designer of the Harriet Tubman monument.

The Shadow of a Face Harriet Tubman monument will remain open throughout construction.
